Event: 2017 National APAMSA Conference & Pre-Med Day

On October 7th, 2017 (8 AM - 7 PM), APAMSA will hold their 2017 National APAMSA Conference & Pre-Med Day at the UCLA David Geffen School of Medicine. This year, the conference theme will be "Caring for Communities: Health Equity, Leadership and Innovation," which seeks to empower pre-health students along with medical, dental, public health, and nursing students who are interested in addressing and advocating for the health issues pertaining to the Asian Pacific Islander (API) community through speakers and workshops. The conference will focus on caring for API communities by emphasizing health equity, leadership and innovation.
The National Conference will consist of renowned speakers in the field of medicine, medical related workshops, open forum for caucuses, film screening and resident panels.
Pre-med Day will consist of undergraduate keynote speakers and Pre-med day workshops that will include mock interviews, medical student panels and other fun workshops.
