The Integrative Eye Health Program is an educational series offered by the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine (CEWM) that provides in-depth exposure for preventive care using holistic principles and methods of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM). In addressing both the mind and body as it relates to vision health, participants will learn their personal TCM constitution, how to choose foods according to personal constitution, and acupoints for daily use to enhance standard eye care and overall health. The retreat will be led and guided by East-West experts in TCM.

Come join the UCLA Health Center for East-West Medicine (CEWM) and UCLA Stein Eye Institute for a half-day workshop series on integrative approaches to visual health. The half-day workshop will provide a general overview of wholistic and integrative health approaches to eye care to help prevent vision loss, and the 1-day retreat will offer more comprehensive information on body constitution, acupressure points for the eyes, East-West nutrition for optimal eye health, mind-body exercises, and mindfulness practice through health coaching. The retreat is an in-depth interactive program that will provide self-care tools and information to enhance visual health, standard eye care, and general wellness.
