Inpatient East-West

Announcing the UCLA Inpatient East-West Consult Service

The East-West inpatient consult service aims to relieve pain, nausea, anxiety, and other common inpatient conditions within the hospital setting by blending Traditional Chinese Medicine, Internal Medicine and Integrative Medicine using a variety of non-pharmacologic techniques including acupuncture, trigger point injections, mindfulness, and lifestyle medicine. We are now available for inpatient consultations at UCLA Santa Monica Hospital.

Andrew Shubov, MD and Annie Zhang, MD are Board Certified in Internal Medicine and have both completed the 2-year fellowship at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine.  They are both former UCLA Hospitalists.
