Alan Chu MD MPH is an Assistant Clinical Professor at the UCLA Center for East-West Medicine (CEWM). He is also a clinical instructor in the UCLA Department of Medicine. He received his education (BS, MD, MPH) from the University of Michigan and completed his medical internship and residency in Internal Medicine at UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Chu's professional/clinical interests include nutrition, prevention, medical student education, and system quality improvement. His hobbies include traveling, trying new restaurants, golfing, and enjoying time with his family.
Dr. Chu is currently accepting new patients as a primary care physician in Santa Monica and is also seeing patients with faculty in several UCLA East-West consultative clinic sites.
