Megan Jolicoeur DO

Physician › CEWM Fellow, East-West Consultative Care

Dr. Megan Jolicoeur is a current consultative fellow at CEWM and clinical instructor. She received a B.S. in Physiology and Neurobiology from The University of Connecticut while on a presidential scholarship. She went on to receive her medical degree at Touro University School of Osteopathic Medicine-California. During her time in medical school she was accepted to the Health Professional Scholarship Program with the US Navy. She completed her internship and residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton becoming board certified in Family Medicine. She served an additional year focusing on Integrative Medicine while also serving as Junior Attending.

After residency, she served as an active duty Naval Officer and Physician  at Naval Branch Health Clinic Port Hueneme while also leading as the Senior Medical Officer. During her time of service she participated in a humanitarian mission called Pacific Partnership 2015 aboard the USNS Mercy and also established an integrative medical and acupuncture clinic for active duty, retired veterans, and dependents. She recently completed her obligation to the Navy after serving seven years of Active Duty.

She has a passion for holistic health, nutrition, TCM, osteopathy, and integrative medicine. Dr. Jolicoeur currently holds certifications in Medical Acupuncture, Mind Body Medicine, Ayurvedic Counseling, and is a 200hr RYT certified yoga teacher. She is currently working on her Functional Medicine certification as well. Her hobbies include spending time with family, running, hiking, traveling. She loves helping her patients reach optimal health from a whole body and integrative approach.
