Dr. Wang is a dynamic and holistic physician who has extensive experience and accomplishment in the integrated practice and research of both western medicine and Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). Her specialties include multiple pain syndromes, infertility, insomnia, anxiety, menopause, women’s health, TCM of Aesthetics, digestive disorders, cardiovascular diseases, cancers and integrative healthcare.
Dr. Wang received her M.D. from Liaoning University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and completed her internship, residency and fellowship from Liaoning Hospital of Integrative Eastern-Western Medicine, her PhD in medicine from Chiba University, Graduate School of Medical and Pharmaceutical Sciences in Japan, and finally completed her Postdoc from David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Currently Dr. Wang is a Clinical Specialist and Acupuncturist at UCLA Center for East-West Medicine, Department of Medicine, a Research Scientist at UCLA, David Geffen School of Medicine, Department of Medicine and Molecular Cell & Developmental Biology, and Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. Dr. Wang, with extensive clinical and teaching experience, is also a Professor at South Baylo University, School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in U.S.A.
Dr. Wang has also published in many prestigious journals on innovative and integrative approaches to treat diseases, and has served as an invited editor or reviewer, including “The Journal of clinical investigation”, “Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences of the U.S”, “Journal of Practical Traditional Chinese Internal Medicine”, “Circulation Research”, “Hypertension”, “Journal of American Heart Association” and “BBA Molecular Basis of Disease”, etc.
